Description
Thank you for your interest in the position with Coos County government. Coos Health & Wellness has an immediate opening for a Front Desk Agent at their 281 LaClair Street location in Coos County. This position is part of a team responsible for providing a variety of front desk services and office functions in direct support to medical, clinical, and management staff. Position handles a large volume of calls or walk-ins and therefore requires someone comfortable with dealing with the public.
This one position requires ability to read, write and speak Spanish. Extra compensation is provided.
Position is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

Position is under the AFSCME Union, full time and comes with excellent benefits, including health coverage, long term disability, paid vacation, sick time, and holidays, and County provided PERS (Public Employee Retirement System).
Position requires high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of office work/front desk of a progressively responsible nature. Must have knowledge of standard office practices. Must have ability to compose letters and reports in effective style and proper business form. Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications. Must have excellent general office and telephone skills.
Preference may be given to applicants able to read, write and speak Spanish. Preference may be given to candidates with knowledge of medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory terms; education or training in a medical related field; and/or experience in a health care setting with similar responsibilities.
