The Coos County District Attorney's Office has an immediate opening for a DDA I or DDA II depending on experience. We also have a position open for DDA to lead our unique Justice Reinvestment Act Program.  This program was the first in the state to imbed a prosecutor with our local Community Corrections program to work hand in hand with Probation/Parole Officers. 

UP TO $5,000 IN RELOCATION COSTS.  Costs include placing a deposit on a rental, first and last month's rent, etc, and reimbursement for bar admission fees if from out of the State of Oregon.

Salary range is $6,612 - $11,874 per month DOE, with excellent benefits.  County pays 98% of health care benefits for employee and family, and provides 6% towards Public Employee Retirement System.  

Requires a doctor of jurisprudence or equivalent law degree, and admission to the Oregon State Bar.  Full training will be provided.  For the right applicant, employment may be contingent on successful completion of the Oregon State Bar Exam in July 2023.
